Kurdistan presidency threatens Maliki with disclosing documents
In response to recent remarks made by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki Kurdistan presidential office threatened with disclosing some secret documents.
During a recent interview with the private NRT, Iraqi PM accused the Kurdistan Region of some violations and proclaimed himself the protector of Iraqi constitution and Iraq's unity.

Kurdistan presidency's statement said Maliki's "transgression" this time exceeds the limits to a level that no one can keep silent against it and "obliges us to comment about such issues which he talked about with an offensive and spiteful language.

"We are left with no option but to enter the scene and disclose the documents and evidences which expose many of the policies adopted by PM's office."

The documents relate to the agreements between Kurdistan and Maliki party, the State of Law Coalition as well as some of those related to Iraqi political situation in general.

The presidential statement criticized Maliki for "calling himself as Kurds' protector….Therefore, we will disclose the documents and evidences which refute these allegations and lies [which Maliki attributed to Kurds].

This time Maliki revealed "all the evil intentions in his heart…. his transgression and unilateralism in this term prevents him from seeing others and getting along with them peacefully," the statement said.
