Minister of Foreign Affairs Hoshiyar Zebari , this morning , June 20, at Baghdad International Airport, received Nikolai Mladenov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria and his accompanying delegation.
Zebari and his Bulgarian Counterpart held official talks at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The two sides , stressed the importance of opening the Bulgarian embassy in Baghdad especially in these days, as they emphasized their keenness on activating the Joint Ministerial Committee between Iraq and Bulgaria.

Both ministers talked about relations with the European Union after the signing of an agreement of cooperation and partnership between the two sides.
