The secretariat of Baghdad stated today that the US Embassy expressed its desire to twin Baghdad’s museum and one of the known US museums.
A statement from the secretariat said the US Embassy in Baghdad expressed its desire to twin the Baghdadi museum belonging to the secretariat of Baghdad and a US museum to exchange experiences and inform the current and coming generations about the heritage of their country through the communities found in both countries.

The embassy also expressed its desire for the establishment of a training program for cadres specialized in artistic affairs, such as painters, and to stimulate the process of tourism promotion and increase experience in the field of media and management of tourism facilities.

A delegation from the embassy was informed about the departments of the Baghdadi museum and the various activities that reflect the simple life experienced by various social groups, as well as methods of earning a living that represent the era of parents and grandparents.
