President Masoud Barzani Welcomes New US Consul General to Kurdistan Region
President Barzani welcomed a new US General in the Kurdistan Region and expressed his interest in continuing to work together in accordance with the Constitution.
Kurdistan President Barzani received a letter from the US President Barack Obama, which included reiterating on mutual understandings and working together to guarantee prosperous future for two sides.
During the meeting the new US consul and said he is aware of the Kurds' historical struggle and fight for freedom, said a statement from the Kurdistan Regional Government and he presented his credentials and briefed to President Barzani about his career, expressing his delight to represent the US in Kurdistan Region.
