Kurdistan President Barzani calls for peaceful solution to tension in Iraqi Federal
Kurdistan President Masoud Barzani on Saturday criticized the federal government of Iraq for current political events that happened in the Iraq.

In the statement released by Kurdistan President on Saturday, President Barzani said that for a long time, Iraq is going through a big crisis because of negligence in providing services, and excluding the partners, not to implement the Constitution and the agreements, resulted in the discontent of all Iraqis, scholars, religious authorities, parties and organizations.

President Barzani added that at the time when it is the Federal Government's task to deal logically toward finding solution; rather it worked toward aggravating the crisis through marginizing, threatening and exclusion that resulted in dangerous complication that would lead to bad consequences.

He stressed the necessity to keep the protests peaceful, not to resort to violence and to be aware from some extremist might ride the wave and harm the legitimate demands. President of Kurdistan Region affirmed his full support to the demonstrators' legitimate demands that agree with the Constitution.

President Barzani said that to overcome the crisis, the political process must be rectified through resorting to the Constitution and agreements reached, as well as adopting dialogue toward realizing respective life.
