On the occasion of the Easter and the Resurrection of Christ (peace be upon him), I offer my warmest greetings to Christian sisters and brothers in Kurdistan, Iraq and around the world. I wish you a happy holiday and hope it will bring joy and prosperity, peace and stability for everyone.

On this day, we reaffirm our commitment to preserving the culture of peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and tolerance among all ethnic and religious communities in Kurdistan and Iraq as we celebrate our shared history. As an ancient component of our societies, we salute our Christian sisters and brothers who have greatly contributed to the development and prosperity of Kurdistan and Iraq throughout history.

Hopefully, our future celebrations will be held under much better conditions, and all of our communities work together side by side, in unity and harmony, for a better future.
