The Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) in the Kurdistan Regional Government has made an announcement that will affect all motorists in the region. The price of a liter of gasoline is to be changed to 750 dinars for all private vehicles, taxis, buses and pickup trucks, effective immediately.

The Ministry of Natural Resources produces high quality gasoline through domestic refineries and the monitoring committees in the Oil and Minerals Directorates in the provinces and autonomous administrations will ensure the quality of gasoline through the same mechanism.

This move by the Ministry is aimed at improving the quality of gasoline and unifying the price of gasoline for all types of vehicles. It is expected to have a positive impact on the public interest and benefit motorists across the region.
