Washington, DC - February 24, 2024 - The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, His Excellency Masrour Barzani, commenced his official visit to Washington, DC today, upon receiving a formal invitation.

Accompanied by senior members of his cabinet,
Prime Minister Barzani arrived in the U.S. capital this evening to engage in a series of high-level meetings with key officials at the White House, the Department of State, and Capitol Hill.

The primary focus of these meetings will be to discuss policy issues of mutual significance and to strengthen bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and the United States. Additionally, Prime Minister Barzani will address pertinent developments in Iraq, the Kurdistan Region and the wider Middle East.
